The 15th Century Grgade II listed building is used as the Village Hall. It was first converted in 1956 and little has been done since then. The Main Hall, with its sprung maple wood dance floor, is on the first floor with only stair access. The project is firstly to build an extension to provide new modern rooms, to house a lift and to provide kitchen, bar and loo all on the one floor. Secondly the porject will redecorate the barn to enhance its natural beauty and make it more useful to teh 21st century community. The project has been professionally costed at £460,100 and so far £378,000 has been raised.
