The children we support are all living in social deprivation. Many are living with complex issues such as domestic violence, bullying, abuse and addiction. They are under achieving at school and at risk of disengaging and falling out of education and employment altogether. Working with children from Slough, this project will enhance their social and emotional development to enable them to better engage with school.
By working in collaboration with schools, who identify their children and the areas to be focused upon- we build life skills, tenacity, resilience and empathy. These are the skills young people need to cope with life's challenges. We also enrich the national curriculum with Maths and English skills, enabling children to return to school as successful learners.
