By the beginning of December, there could be 5,000-10,000 new cases of Ebola per week. Our focus is to stop the spread of this deadly disease. We are responding in the two hardest hit countries - Liberia and Sierra Leone - by providing hygiene kits and information on prevention to families.

  • Nearly 5,000 people have lost their lives in what is the largest and deadliest Ebola outbreak in history. Unless more is done to prevent the spread of the disease there could be 5,000-10,000 new cases weekly in West Africa by December.

    We are distributing hygiene kits, educational materials and information on prevention to help stop the spread of the disease in the two hardest hits countries; Liberia and Sierra Leone. CARE International is a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee.
