Supporting adults and children with learning disabilites. Providing work training and supported employment for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Providing a fully supported holiday club for children with disabilities in a rural farm setting.

Young adults with Learning Disabilities face challenges not faced by other young people. They are excluded from opportunities including education & employment. They face discrimination & abuse from people who do not understand their needs or abilities. At present only 6% of adults with Learning Disabilities are in paid employment in the UK. This statistic highlights the inequality that we are seeking to redress. There are very limited training & work opportunities available in our area.

We provide work training for adults with Learning disabilities. We then support them into paid employment and continue to support both the work trainee and the employer. We teach work related skills at the farm and then help translate these skills into the workplace. We raise aspirations of young people with learning disabilities and help manage expectations of local employers. We also provide valuable respite and quality holiday club provision for children with disabilties.
