Every young person has a story to tell - we give them a platform to be heard. Our productions aim to give a voice to those who are excluded, and shine a light on how society could be positively influenced by including and embracing everyone.
As an organisation working extensively with young people, our channels for youth input, such as our Young Company Forum, have made it clear that they want to explore the youth stories, issues and the pressures they face, creatively. And, gain real experience as part of a diverse creative team, by sharing and performing their stories with wider audiences to spark initiatives that support young people
As part of our performance programme, we have developed production slots with a creative process that: develop a form of inclusive theatre which uses movement, dance, music and devised story lines to shine a dramatic light in response to current issues which are affecting young people today; and, that provide opportunities for young creatives to develop their skills through devising, directing, choreographing and composing their own sections of the piece with their cast.
