  • The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity which receives no direct government funding and requires ¬£7,200 per day to keep the service operational. The YAA serves a population of 5 million people over 4 million acres. To date, the YAA has flown over 3,894 patients to their nearest relevant treatment centre within the ‚ÄòGolden Hour‚Äô and this has been proven to save lives. We aim to secure funding to support the operational and charitable aspects of this life-saving service.

We aim to raise funds for the operational and charitable sides of the organisation so that not only can we maintain the helicopters, we can raise awareness of the charity by educating the people of Yorkshire about the work which we do. We aim to generate income to cover the cost of the items outlined in the five days of Christmas Challenge idea to help us continue our work.
