This Christmas Emmanuel House will give homeless people hope and a reason to celebrate. We welcome everyone on Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day reducing social isolation. Our Support Centre will offer warmth to anyone in need, with hot drinks, warm clothes, festive food and gifts for all

Emmanuel House will run this project to reduce loneliness and social isolation suffered throughout the Festive Period particularly focusing on engaging those aged over 55. Christmas can be a particularly hard time for those who are isolated and alone and people who are rough sleeping or in temporary accommodation often have no contact with family or friends leaving them struggling to cope. Emmanuel House will open its doors and give hope to homeless and vulnerable people

We will be open throughout the festive period offering a warm welcome to all. Our support workers will be on hand to offer emotional and practical help to those in need and provide access to The Nottingham Winter Shelter. We also offer services such as laundry facilities, hot meals and drinks. The centre will be a place of comfort, festive fun and warmth where everyone is included. The project will run all over the festive period enabling people to continue to access support.
