Across the UK, many young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are not provided with the opportunity to develop the vital skills they need to succeed in life. With the cost-of-living crisis, gaps in attainment and life chances between young people from better off families and their less advantaged peers continue to widen. CSSF’s work to develop young people’s confidence, aspiration and commitment to learning has never been more important.

CSSF shows children that success is for everyone, not just those at the top of the class. Our Festivals (incl teacher training, student workshops, curriculum resources and live performances) will support children to develop confidence and ambition. With us, every child can exceed their own expectations and inspire pride in their teachers and families. Giving children a stage to perform on, we’ll ensure they can speak and be heard, developing key skills for the future.
