Donate today & help us support our Members (women caught up in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system) to pursue creative futures. There is a great need to support women facing deep disadvantage to express themselves, build new skills & unlock pathways to new careers & opportunities.

Our Members face intersecting & marginalising challenges including racism, poverty, trauma, domestic violence, alcohol & drug misuse. As such, they are among the most affected by the biting cost of the living crises & the mental health turmoil of the last few years. This widening disadvantage gap means Members need the specialist support, opportunities & networks we can provide to develop the skills, experience & resilience to progress to new futures in & beyond the creative industries.

Women build confidence, wellbeing & creativity through participating in our Members Programme of theatre activities & wraparound support: a springboard from which they can pursue new futures beyond Clean Break. Our trauma-informed approach means Members feel empowered to access the agency they need to thrive. Using our 40+ years’ specialist experience, we will create new development opportunities that make routes into education, employment & volunteering more accessible to Members.
