We are asking for your help to provide gifts for the 5800 children under 5 living in poverty across London that we have supported throughout 2021. We are gifting vouchers, to help parents choose a present their child really wants, and spread some joy among families.

Child poverty is rising for the first time in a generation: over 4 in 10 children in inner London are growing up in poverty. We know that Christmas can be an especially challenging time of year for low-income families, in which the divide between those with money and those without can feel particularly apparent. 1 in 5 children didn't receive a Christmas present in 2020 and we fear the same for 2021 due to the long-term financial losses suffered by families living in poverty due to the pandemic.

Over the course of the year we have supported over 5,800 children under 5, referred to us by our network of over 1,900 professionals in the community. We will distribute vouchers to families and give parents the agency and choice to select the gift they know their child would love to receive.
