Situation
This three year project will take place in the areas where people live in poverty, children are stunted and most of the districts inhabitants depend on the wetland eco-system for their livelihoods. Yields are insufficient for food and income security, business expansion and investment. There is inadequate participation in conservation efforts which lead to communities turning to supplement income through deforestation, unlicensed fishing and charcoal burning. This project will address this.
