Communities across Gloucestershire want to respond to the climate and nature crisis but lack accessible, practical support to do so. People face rising waste, high energy costs, social isolation and limited confidence in reuse, repair or retrofitting homes with renewables and insulation. Sustainability advice is fragmented and often inaccessible, leaving many unsure where to start or excluded from climate action altogether.

Vision 21’s new EcoHub will act as a welcoming, practical centre for climate action. Through workshops, events, expert advice, and peer support, it will empower people to reduce waste, repair, reuse, retrofit their homes, and adopt low-carbon lifestyles. The sustainably built Hub itself showcases solar, heat pumps, and insulation. It will also host nature and growing projects, connecting people with the environment and promoting local food resilience.
