Children aged 0-4 with additional needs/disabilities & those experiencing disadvantage and/or deprivation require specific Early Intervention support from our trained staff, as early as possible. The needs of children & their parents need to be sensitively assessed & the enduring effects of any trauma or hardship on children’s development & wellbeing also needs to be addressed. Parents facing a variety of challenges affecting their experience of being a parent also require our specialist help.

Our Early Intervention team provide emotional & practical support to gently assess & meet the needs of families, including creating specific activity groups to strengthen the parent-child bond & providing play & learning opportunities, to enable each child to developmentally thrive . Our Family Centre is a safe space, that enables families to gain skills and knowledge & develop confidence & friendships. We also work in partnership locally to signpost families to additional services.
