Rising temperatures, extreme weather and air pollution are putting increasing pressure on urban areas and human health. Trees offer a natural solution to these threats but we must act now to grow lasting change. Join us to plant urban trees and grow resilient cities for today and future generations.

2024 was the hottest year on record. Trees are one of the most effective tools to mitigate the impact of climate change, yet 3 in 4 UK urban wards do not meet the minimum suggested target for tree cover. Without trees these communities are vulnerable to rising temperatures, extreme weather and poor air quality. It’s not too late to grow a sustainable future but we must act now. By planting trees where they’re needed most, together we can grow resilient towns and cities for people and the planet

For over 30 years, Trees for Cities has supported local communities to plant and care for urban trees, bringing the benefits of trees to towns and cities across the UK. We’ve planted over 1.8 million to date, with every tree established helping to combat the effects of climate change and grow resilient urban environments. You can help to continue this mission. By supporting this campaign you’ll help to plant urban trees and grow leafy, liveable cities for today and future generations. Thank you.
