We face an ecological & climate emergency that is already impacting the three pillars of sustainable living: nature, people and our economy. We will restore nature rapidly & at scale, with two clear goals: 1. Nature will be in recovery in Wiltshire and Swindon 2. People will take action for nature

The impacts of changing climates locally include increased flooding, increased river and land temperatures, and damage to soils. These unseasonal weather patterns are causing habitats to change and are creating a challenging environment for many of our species, who are already struggling for survival. There are 135 identified critical-list species that Swindon and Wiltshire are vital for supporting. We must act now to save them from extinction.

To achieve our goal of nature being in recovery, we must: • Enhance biodiversity and create resilience across our reserves and landholdings, embracing the best of the latest technology and nature-based solutions. • Undertake increased monitoring to identify and scale effective habitat management practices that support the 135 listed critical species • Increase our work with other landowners and farmers, in support of actions, to deliver natures recovery.
