We are seeking funding to support our recent move into a bigger centre in Edinburgh that allows us to increase the number of women we support from 400 a year to 500 a year. There is an increase in demand for our service as the cost-of-living crisis continues to cause hardship for unemployed women.

The rising cost-of-living is having a detrimental impact on women and they are facing very stressful and worrying financial situations that significantly impact their emotional health. We know securing quality employment is the most important route out of poverty and to achieve financial stability. Our Edinburgh centre is where we deliver our life changing dressing and coaching service to help women into work and our previous small premises did not give us the space to grow. Providing support to more women who need our help has only been made possible by relocating to bigger premises, which will transform our impact in the months and years to come.

Our transformative one-to-one support is provided from our Edinburgh centre which is open to unemployed women, Monday to Friday. It provides an inclusive, safe and welcoming space for women to meet with our highly skilled staff and volunteers and receive the support they need to progress in their employment journey. The move to our new bigger centre with an additional coaching room and 2nd changing cubicle allows us to double our appointment capacity so that we can support even more women.
