At the same time, young people are unable to access quality training and pursue rewarding careers. Without diverse, skilled teams, theatres cannot create the ground-breaking shows audiences love. We want to create pathways into the industry for people from all backgrounds, building a skilled workforce for the future.

Our Training Programme offers high-quality professional development with leading industry figures, providing clear routes into technical and backstage careers. We provide 'Taster' workshops, mentoring, Residencies and paid Traineeships, supporting the next generation of artists working in lighting, sound, costume, stage management and beyond. All our technical training opportunities are free, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation.
