In Gaza and Sudan where innocent civilians are being killed and injured, and in Afghanistan and Iraq where the legacy of war continues to devastate lives, people need free, high-quality healthcare that helps both for today, and for the long-term. Support EMERGENCY to help make this possible.

Access to free, quality healthcare is a universal inalienable human right, yet globally it is inordinately unequal and inequitable, particularly in low-income settings and even more so in countries affected by war and violence. In Gaza and Sudan, and in post-conflict settings like Afghanistan and Iraq, healthcare systems which were already fragile before conflict have been severely weakened, leaving their populations in need of quality healthcare.
EMERGENCY provides free, high-quality care in countries affected by conflict and poverty, by building medical infrastructure and training local people to be medics. EMERGENCY provides access to care in war and post-war countries, such as its Maternity, Paediatric and Surgical Centres in Afghanistan, Paediatric and Cardiac Surgical Centres in Sudan, Prosthetic Rehabilitation Centre in Iraq, and Primary Clinics in Gaza. Projects are implemented by EMERGENCY ONG ETS, which EMERGENCY UK supports.
