The Critical Gap: The transition from Sreepur Village to independent living is the highest-risk period for mothers and children escaping domestic violence, homelessness, or crisis situations. Without proper transition support, too many families return to unsafe situations, facing economic instability or losing their homes within the first year. This critical 12-month window is when families are most vulnerable to falling through the cracks.

Our Bridge Year Programme provides 12 months of wraparound support: 6 months pre-independence with intensive life skills training, housing preparation, and financial literacy; plus 6 months post-independence with regular check-ins, peer mentorship, emergency funding, and crisis intervention. This ensures families don't fall through the cracks during their most vulnerable transition period.
