With your help we can provide free, compassionate palliative care to more people in our community who need it: either at their home or in our specialist hospice buildings – whichever is right for them.

We expect to support around 3,900 patients in 2026 . With an ageing population and more people living with more than one illness, we know that many of them will have complex needs. Without the right support in place, this can lead to people being admitted to hospital. We know that patients and their families often don’t want this, as a person nears the end of their life, and they would prefer to be cared for in familiar and comfortable surroundings .

Our extraordinary hospice care helps prevent unnecessary hospital admissions by supporting people’s needs in the place that’s best for them —be it the comfort of their home or our welcoming Inpatient Unit. We take the time to truly know each person and what matters most to them, so we can provide personalised care that brings comfort, dignity, and a sense of control, helping them and their loved ones during difficult times.
