Demand for mental health support for young people with a variety of increasingly complex issues continues to rise. CAMHS cannot meet the demand, schools cannot deal with the complex issues and the cost of counselling support makes it prohibitive for many to access, so the service we offer is critical to our community. By investing in online support we can ensure we manage the demand for our service by offering those with less complex needs the tools and skills needed to break unhelpful patterns.

We aim to assess every referral within 2 weeks and provide in-person counselling within 10 weeks. Young people on the waitlist are offered our digital programme with a supporter and can go on to receive in-person counselling if needed. SilverCloud online support is available 24/7. With a trained supporter it provides space for young people to understand their low mood and anxiety and enables them to make changes to feel better. Young people can also refer themselves via our website.
