Seventy-nine percent of people trafficked are women and children. At Ella's, we provide a sanctuary for survivors to heal and rebuild. Women like Nia, a survivor of violence, trafficking and exploitation, who is now finding hope and rediscovering herself through our work.

In 2023, 17,004 potential victims of modern slavery were referred into the UK government system, with the number of female survivors at an all time high. Despite the devastating impact of trafficking and exploitation, and the urgent and growing need for survivor care, there is a massive and recognised lack of intensive, long-term support people need to recover and stay safe. Without the right help, women are extremely vulnerable to falling back into danger.

We are committed to providing supported safe house accommodation, outreach and community resettlement services for survivors of trafficking and exploitation. Through our tailored, one to one support, survivors stay safe from dangers such as homelessness, poverty and re-exploitation, and gain everything they need to recover and build lives that are safe and free.
