Situation
As a theatre in our community we bring people together, for shared experiences. We work in partnerships with many other charities to help combat loneliness, support vulnerable adults and children and those who are marginalised, breaking down barriers to ensure theatre and the Arts are accessible and our building is welcoming to all.
Solution
York Theatre Royal will continue to make and present theatre that is inclusive and relevant. We will continue to work with partners and forge new relationships for the benefit of serving our community. We will ensure our historic building is fit for purpose, environmentally sustainable and accessible to all.
