We are raising £10,000 to help feed and care for our amazing, rare breed animals. Our animals are awesome and play a vital role in caring for our volunteers and the community's wellbeing, whilst simultaneously helping to conserve and develop the unique biodiversity of area.

Insufficient awareness and involvement hinder climate change and nature recovery efforts in our area, exacerbated by inequalities preventing easy access to green spaces. Our urban heathland faces challenges like encroaching scrub, occasional arson, and habitat loss, discouraging local engagement for recreation, education and wellbeing. Our animals play a crucial role in attracting thousands of visitors, offering practical insights for action, and enhancing open spaces for both people and nature.

Our amazing animals will work hard bringing people to the Farm to learn about the environment and wellbeing and by conservation grazing a rare urban heathland! They're ambassadors for nature friendly farming and bring people together, creating a stronger more connected community. Their grazing will clear scrub, controlling invasive species (like knotweed) and reduce fire risk on the heathland. The Farm will educate local people in practical nature and climate action through volunteering and play
