Everyone deserves to feel clean, yet millions of people in the UK today are going without the hygiene basics - such as shower gel, toothpaste and deodorant - that so many of us take for granted. With your support, we will reach more of those who are disproportionately affected by hygiene poverty.

Situation
Demand for our services is greater than ever before. Our recent research has revealed that over 3.1 million people in the UK are unable to afford fundamental basics like toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent and period products. This can severely impact our quality of life, causing social isolation, anxiety, depression and shame. Unfortunately, this reality is hitting the UK's most deprived areas the hardest, and it will continue to do so as we move deeper into the cost of living crisis.
Solution
We believe that everyone deserves to feel clean, which is why, to date, we have directed over 1.3 million tonnes of hygiene products to those living in hygiene poverty in the UK. We will continue to work with local communities to tackle hygiene poverty by not only investing in our existing projects, but by setting up new ones in areas of high deprivation. With the help of our incredible volunteers we will be able to reach those in the UK who need us the most.
