We provide bereavement support to young people aged 16-25 who live in England. Part of that support is funding for them to have therapy in the form that suits them and their needs. We have partners who provider traditional counselling, EMDR, music, drama, art and dance therapy.

    Situation

In the UK a parent of someone under 18 dies every 22 minutes. In 2017 5821 people died from suicide and 7653 young people under 18 died. Many of them have siblings, friends and family who will struggle with their lose and have to come to terms with their death. There is also a correlation between young people who have been bereaved and starting to take drugs. Grief can send people down a path they should have never taken and its our mission to ensure every young people stays on their path.

    Solution

By providing bereavement support to those that need it we are ensuring young people living in England can be provided with the help they need. We believe no two people grieve the same and therefore our support it tailored to the individual. We provide the right therapy for them, with the amount of sessions they need we hope to give these young people the tools they need to move forward with their grief and struggles with their mental health so they can move forward with their lives positively.
