Every day at least 5 people will be killed on the roads of the United Kingdom with hundreds more suffering life-changing injuries. The Road Victims Trust will offer a case management and counselling service to all persons affected by fatal and life-changing collisions across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
Solution
The Road Victims Trust will work in partnership with the Police and Road Safety Partnerships to identify all persons requiring support after fatal and life-changing collisions. A team of professional case managers and counsellors will offer a tailor-made support package to help people start to cope with the trauma of a road death or serious injury.
