Some people are not able to understand the intricacies of handling money, dealing with benefits and other 'officialdom' due to their learning disability. Sometimes families manage this for them. But when the family is no longer around or if it is in the best interest of the person to manage their own budget Dosh can step in.

Dosh will provide the service to people. By ensuring that people get the best possible advice, benefits will be fairer. Some people may access work, they will know the difference this makes to their financial situation. It will give people confidence that their money is being handled correctly and may, in some circumstances ensure that the person gets their money and not the family as can sometimes be the case.
