Each school who visit Farms For City Children brings a group of between 36 and 40 children with them. We estimate (from school feedback) that around 52% of the children suffer some form of disadvantage. We pledge to pay 1/3 of the true cost (£90) for each and every child. The school themselves raise the money to pay the balance (£180 per child).

Each week at each of the 3 farms costs Farms For City Children £3,480. The cost to have 3 schools stay (one at each farm, Devon, Gloucestershire & Pembrokeshire) per week is £10,440. We already have over 3,000 children booked in to stay with us over the next 12 months and the funding needed for the whole project is just over £270,000. The feedback forms we receive from the schools prove to us what a life enriching experience a stay on our farms is - our feedback forms are available by e-mail upon request.
