Women who have experienced abuse, exploitation and displacement, often face complex and hidden challenges. These experiences can leave lasting emotional, physical and psychological impacts, often resulting in trauma and isolation, creating barriers to employment, education and social integration. Sadly, this can limit their ability to rebuild their lives, move forwards and achieve stability.

At the heart of recovery and sustainable change is the need for belonging, empowerment and connection. At Bramber Bakehouse, women are able to heal from trauma in a safe, supportive space. Our group baking lessons, wellbeing sessions, life & employability skills, befriending and mentoring support services empower women as they rebuild their confidence, gain practical skills and form lasting connections, offering a brighter, more hope-filled future for themselves and their loved ones.
