Patients often face spending their last Christmas in hospital, away from everything familiar. With your support, we can give them the option of spending their final days either on our In-patient unit or in their own homes where they can cherish their time together with family, safe in the knowledge their medical and support needs are being taken care of. Taking a holistic approach to care, Beaumond House focuses on the physical, emotional and practical needs of our patients and their family.

Over Christmas, when many services close, our nurses are still there. It’s so important to our patients and their carers to know that even on Christmas Day, Beaumond House is only a phone call away. Patients, both in the In-patient Unit and in the community, have access to palliative care and symptom management that helps keep them as comfortable as possible, giving them the opportunity to enjoy Christmas with their loved ones.
